The Ford Focus ST is a riot to drive, but from the factory, it sounds... polite. Too polite. COBB built the COBB 3" Cat-Back Exhaust to fix that. COBB ripped out the heavy, restrictive stock system and replaced it with a high-flow masterpiece that wakes up the 2.0L EcoBoost engine.
COBB didn't just want loud; COBB wanted refined. A lot of exhausts for the Focus ST are just straight pipes that drone so bad your ears ring after a commute. COBB took a smarter approach. By using custom high-flow inline mufflers, COBB tuned the frequency to be deep and throaty when you mash the throttle, but civilized when you're cruising in 6th gear. It’s the kind of sound that makes you want to roll the windows down in tunnels. The underside of your car takes a beating, so COBB built this system to handle it. Every inch is crafted from 304 Stainless Steel—not the cheap aluminized stuff that rusts after one winter. The piping is CNC mandrel bent, which means the tube doesn't get crushed in the bends. Smooth bends mean smooth airflow, and smooth airflow means your turbo doesn't have to work as hard to make power.
The rear of the ST has that unique center-exit exhaust, and COBB wanted to highlight it. Our Dual 4" Double Wall Tips are significantly larger than stock and feature a slash-cut design that follows the lines of the bumper. It looks aggressive, purposeful, and clean. Plus, because COBB control the tuning ecosystem, this exhaust is 100% compatible with our Accessport OTS maps right out of the box. No guessing games—just performance.
