The stock unit is a clumsy, translucent plastic blob that looks out of place and, worse, turns brittle and yellow after a few years of heat cycling. The COBB Tuning Coolant Overflow Tank is the permanent fix. It replaces that "plastic fantastic" failure point with a piece of precision-engineered aluminum art.
COBB Tuning didn't just make a metal box; we engineered a better system. This tank holds 1.1 Liters, increasing your capacity over stock. The construction is bomb-proof TIG-Welded Aluminum, anodized inside and out to resist corrosion and look stealthy black forever. We also solved the packaging headache by including a relocated Windshield Washer Fluid Filler Neck, topped with a sweet blue billet cap. It cleans up the messy corner of the engine bay instantly.
Beyond the looks, this tank is designed to protect your engine. The internal fill tubes are submerged to the bottom, ensuring that as your coolant expands and contracts, the system only pulls in fluid—never air. We also added a Red Anodized Dipstick.
